From Chamonix to the World

My grand tour around the world to experience the beauty, explore the fragility and research the possibilities to reconnect people with nature is about to beginn. I have another two month of preparation and clarification, to get my research projects defined, design my journey, find out how to reduce my carbon footprint, selfcritize and analyse, plan, change, decide and then leave. This is an attempt to clarify and justify but also to critically evaluate my big endevour.

After a very rainy day yesterday I sit on my table and look out to the Aguille Verte - seeing the wind driving snowclouds of the sides of the mountain shimmering in silver against the backlight of the sun. I am sitting here - working on my travel plans - but actually feel the need to go out there and be amidst the dancing snow.
